Research Interests:
Sara is interested in how variable hibernation physiology affects macromolecular integrity. She is curious to see if arctic ground squirrels, an extreme hibernator, have telomere length dynamics that are correlated with the degree of tissue-specific oxidative stress experienced throughout hibernation.
