|Title:||Optimizing landbird surveys for detecting and distinguishing spatial and population dynamics|
|Date:||Thursday, 2 November 2017|
|Location:||Elvey Bldg, Elvey Auditorium rm 214|
|Major Professor:||Mark Lindberg|
The talk will cover developing efficient methods for population ecology studies of passerines and raptors. Specifically, I'll speak about 1) accommodating temporary emigration in spatial distance sampling models; 2) monitoring passerine arrival timing in Denali NP; and 3) optimizing surveys of cliff-nesting raptors at landscape scales.
