What We Do
IAB's communication office promotes news and information about research conducted by IAB faculty, students and staff via the media, websites, social media, and various internal and external communication venues.
The Public Information Officer fields calls from news outlets around the world and connects journalists with IAB experts, organizes and runs news events, offers media training to faculty and students, provides strategic communication advise and technical assistance, and plays a key role in campus emergency communications.
Services and Function
Announcements: Submit an announcement and we'll post it on the IAB website and include it in our newsletter.
Events: Have a meeting, seminar, or thesis defense coming up? Please use this form to submit information about an upcoming IAB event and we will list add it to our website and our weekly newsletter. Submitting this form will email the information to the appropriate recipients (including IAB, B&W, and the Life Science News).
IAB Directory Info: Please use this form to submit information about yourself for our personnel database. Anyone affiliated with IAB may submit information, including the Department of Biology and Wildlife (B&W), AKCFWRU, CANHR, and INBRE. If you are submitting biographical infomation for the first time, please enter as much information as possible. If you are changing or updating information, just include the fields that you want changed.
